How to Legit Check a Fake Arc’teryx Beta SL Jacket
The 2024–2025 Beta SL uses PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE membrane, hybrid 40D/70D fabric, and weighs 340g. Fake Arc'teryx Beta SL units are constantly being QCed and improved upon and are sold for $67 plus shipping and fees. These replicas are close and very common on secondary markets. Below, you will find information to help with your purchase decision, as I just purchased an authentic unit.
Tag Location and Content
The fake Arc'teryx Beta SL has the tag hanging on the center Zip.

The Authentic Beta SL has the tag hanging on the left pocket zip.

The Black tag on the fake Beta SL has black writing on a black background.

The real one has a white-on-black bird-word logo and is much smaller.

Fake Arc'teryx Beta SL Word Logo on Hood
The word "logo" at the top is in the wrong font, and many letters are not reproduced correctly on the fake Beta SL. Not enough thread is being used; the letters are not as thick as the ones on the authentic jacket. The edges of the R, the C, and the X are not as sharp as the genuine ones.

T once she realizes the Word Logo is bold and clean.

Printed Size Tag and Nylon Hanger Loop
The Arc'teryx word logo on the fake Beta SL is too thick. The A and the R should not be touching at the bottom. The fake jacket has "Made in China," and the real one says "Made in Vietnam. The nylon hanger loop on the fake Beta SL is much shorter than the one on the authentic jacket.

The authentic Word Logo and Hanger Loop on the authentic Bets Sl looks much different from the above.

Bird Word Logo on Front of Fake Arc'teryx Beta SL
Just like the word "logo" on the hood, the Bird Logo on the front of the fake Beta SL is missing thread and not as thick as the one on the real jacket, but not by much. A dead giveaway is where the front left leg meets the body; the fake ones look like a hook or the Nike sign, as in the pic below, and I've seen some with the leg touching the neck. Also, the ribs on the replica jacket are farther from the bird's body.

Gore-tex tag
The details and the color of the replica Gore-Tex tag are wrong, and Paclite Plus is not used in this version of the beta SL.

Fake Arc'teryx Beta SL Zip Pocket Tag
The details on the fake Arc'teryx Beta SL model, including the recco tags inside the left zip pocket, are incorrect. I have seen two versions of the 1st tag: the one in the pic below and one that says "Sawyer coat". Some have the correct Recco tag, and some use an older version.

In stark contrast, the real jacket has the model name, number, and QR code on the first visible tag.

The real Beta SL has a RECCO reflector in the hood, and I have yet to see a replica with one. The Fake Arc'teryx LW has the reflector or a lump where the reflector is supposed to be.

Available Models of Fake Arc'teryx Beta SLs
There are a few colors out now and even an Arc'teryx x Songstam collaboration piece.
