Arc’teryx Palisade Pant
Details
The Arc’teryx Palisade Pant is very lightweight and made from a blend of 94% nylon and 6% elastane. It is very weather resistant, and because the fabric is so light, it dries quickly. 6% elastane provides the right amount of stretch. The pants have the usual articulated patterning and a gusseted crotch for mobility. This pant also has a very comfortable brushed inner waistband with an integrated adjustable belt and metal buckle. This pair of Arc’teryx pants has the most pockets in my arsenal. It has two mesh-lined hand pockets, one zippered rear pocket, and two zippered thigh pockets. This is very close to the Lefroy Pant, just much tougher, and this is a tapered slim fit while the Lefroy is a slim fit.
How I use
Hiking
The Palisade pants are ideal for warm-weather or cold hiking when I want to take the edge off. However, because they are light, I typically only wear them when I am likely to get wet. I usually hike in Gamma Pants.
