Arc’teryx Accelero Jacket
Material
The Arc’teryx Accelero Jacket is made with a double-weave polyester textile. It is a great little lightweight piece that is breathable, moisture-wicking, and lightweight, making it an easy option for running on wet or chilly days.
Wind and Water Resistant
The jacket offers protection from the light wind while maintaining airflow and is water resistant from a DWR coating.
Mobility
This jacket provides excellent mobility, with cool features like gusseted underarms and patterning. It is designed to follow your natural movement, eliminating restrictions.
Pocket
It does not have hand pockets or interior pockets. However, it has one zipped pocket on the sleeve that can hold a hotel key, car key, etc.
Fit
The Arc’teryx Accelero jacket’s athletic fit reduces bulk and allows it to lay comfortably over my thin, long-sleeved shirts. The hem and cuff are elasticized to keep the wind out.
Details
The jacket has two reflective blades on the sleeves and four on the back to increase visibility. It does not have a hood and the highneck is very comfortable when zipped.
How I Use it
Running
The lightweight design makes it perfect for trail or road running in cool, wet, or breezy conditions. I usually wear my Phase SL as a base layer and Ether Crew, Cormac Crew, or Motus Crew as a mid-layer under this jacket, which keeps me very comfortable in the mid-30s. However, due to the sizing of this piece, I cannot fit a thin fleece under it.
