Arc’teryx Gamma Jacket
Material
The Arc’teryx Gamma Jacket has a fabric that is durable, weather-resistant, and breathable. It offers excellent mobility without the stiffness of a hard shell. The jacket’s DWR finish protects against light rain and wind, and the four-way stretch fabric ensures unrestricted movement. The inside of the neck has a very soft fleece lining to prevent chafing.
Zippered Pockets
The jacket has two sizeable, mesh-lined hand pockets. These hand pockets are deceptively large and make up close to the full size of the jacket’s front. There is also a tiny interior chest pocket that can hold small things.
Hem and Cuffs
The cuffs are elastacised, and the hem can be adjusted with a drawcord to seal out drafts and snow during hikes while keeping a snug fit and keeping drafts out.
How I Use
Hiking
The Arc’teryx Gamma Jacket is a great all-rounder for my cold hikes when I need bulletproof wind protection. It has no hood, so I typically wear it over a hoody. This is a very tough shell, and I love it.
I picked this up at Scheels.
