Arc’teryx Rho LT Bottom
Details
The Arc’teryx Rho LT bottom is made from a lightweight polyester blend that keeps me warm when it’s cold outside. The inside of this baselayer is brushed to add warmth and feels very soft against my skin. This base is not very thick and is easy to layer; its trim fit makes it comfortable under a shell or insulated pants. The fabric resists odors and has a zippered pocket on the thigh, which I never use. This piece is very lightweight, and I almost always wear it if it is cold outside.
How I use
Snowboarding
The Rho LT provides enough warmth to keep me comfortable when snowboarding without overheating. It’s my only level of bottom base. If it’s cold, I will wear them with insulated pants; when the weather is mild, I will only wear them under a shell.
Running and Hiking
If the temperature is below 40 degrees, I always run and hike in the Rho LT. I wear it under a Gamma LW Pant for hiking and the Incendo Pant for running. I have a few LT base layers on rotation because they get a lot of use in the winter.
I picked this up at Arc’teryx.
